The Usability Testing video is an informative animation created as part of a course project focused on researching and presenting a specific user feedback method. Me and a partner delved into the use of usability testing, exploring how it is conducted and its value in improving user experiences. To showcase our findings, we decided to create a motion graphic video, as it allowed us to present the information in a clear and cohesive manner as well as combine our research and design skills.

Another informative animation I created during my time at Efficiency Canada was on Energy Poverty and was made to highlight the challenges of energy poverty and its effects on Canadians. Using Maya, I developed a 3D motion graphic video that featured engaging visuals and smooth transitions to convey complex information in an accessible and compelling way. From designing assets to animating sequences, the project allowed me to leverage my technical skills to craft a cohesive narrative that resonated with audiences.

This was a 2D animated video I initially created to raise awareness about the issue of energy poverty. This was my first attempt at tackling the subject, using After Effects to design and animate the visuals. The video aimed to simplify complex information and present it in a digestible and engaging way for the audience. Although it was a valuable first step, I later decided to switch to a 3D approach for a more dynamic and immersive presentation. Despite the shift, this initial 2D version provided a solid foundation and allowed me to refine the key messages and design elements before transitioning to the final version in Maya.

The effects of Nfts is a short infographic animation highlighting the effects of this online currency and how it affects us in the long run. This was the first infographic animation I made and strived to perfect the transitions throughout the video. The assets were designed using Illustrator and were transported to Adobe After Effects for further production.
